Support Through Loss
Working Together..
As a funeral and memorial celebrant, it is a deep honour to support families through one of life’s most difficult times. I understand the immense responsibility of telling someone's story and creating a ceremony that truly reflects the essence of their life. My role is to gently guide and support you as we honour your loved one with warmth, sincerity, and dignity.
Every life is unique, and every ceremony should be too. I work closely with families to create a service that captures the true spirit of the person being remembered – their values, their personality, and the memories they’ve left behind.

How the Process works..
Initial Contact
Once I’m engaged to lead your loved one’s ceremony, I will reach out to arrange a time to meet. This can happen in person, over the phone, or via video call – whatever is most comfortable for you.

Meeting to Share Stories
We will meet to talk about your loved one’s life. This is a time to share stories, reflect on their character, achievements, passions, and what they meant to you and others. This meeting is gentle and conversational – a safe space to talk and remember.

Crafting the Ceremony
Based on everything you’ve shared, I will carefully write the ceremony to reflect the life, love, and legacy of your loved one. Every word is chosen with care to ensure it honours them respectfully and meaningfully.

Writing the Eulogy
The eulogy is the central tribute within the ceremony – a heartfelt reflection of your loved one’s life. It tells their story: who they were, what they loved, what they valued, and how they touched others.
The eulogy can be:
-
Written and delivered by me based on the stories you share.
-
Written by a family member or friend, and either delivered by them or read by me on their behalf.
Whatever you choose, I’ll support you throughout – whether that’s helping someone prepare to speak or stepping in to present the words with warmth and compassion.

Final Review
You will always have the opportunity to review the ceremony beforehand. Nothing is read or shared without your full approval and comfort.

The Day of the Ceremony
On the day, I will be there early to coordinate with others involved and to ensure everything runs smoothly. I will lead the ceremony with strength, sensitivity, and grace – holding space for grief, remembrance, and even moments of lightness or joy.

It is always an honour to walk alongside families during such a meaningful and emotional time. Creating meaningful personalised ceremonies that truly reflect the life, values and spirit of each individual is both my calling and my privilege. I am here to support you with care, compassion, and respect – and to help honour your loved one with a ceremony that truly reflects their life and spirit.
If you feel I may be the right person to help guide you through this part of the journey, I would be honoured to support you.
